Main Responsibilities of the Policy Expert Position
The Policy Expert will support the EBA's regulatory tasks in the areas of structural measures and shadow banking. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the development of guidelines and binding technical standards
- Facilitating the consistent implementation of these standards by national authorities
- Representing the EBA externally in technical discussions

- Cooperating with other ESAs to ensure coordinated policy approaches
Key Information
Eligibility Criteria
- Language: Proficiency in one EU language and satisfactory knowledge of another
- Nationality: Must be a national of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway
- Rights: Full rights as a citizen, no criminal record, and compliance with military service obligations
- Health: Must be physically fit for the role
Qualifications
- Education: University degree with a diploma, and at least one year of professional experience (if education is 3 years) or no professional experience required (if education is 4 years or more)

- Minimum: 7 years (for 3-year education) or 6 years (for 4-year education) of relevant full-time professional experience

Selection Procedure
