Job Description: Data Modeller
The EBA is recruiting a Data Modeller to support its tasks in defining reporting requirements, data integration, and data exploration. The role is under the Risk Analysis Unit, and the Data Modeller will contribute to the development of data models and tools for data analysis and reporting.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform data modelling to support business processes and production systems.
- Create data designs and define relationships between data fields.
- Develop data modelling tools.
- Conduct implementation studies and provide training.
- Collaborate with the EBA's IT team for taxonomy production.
- Work with supervisory reporting experts.
Requirements
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Language proficiency: Thorough knowledge of one EU language and satisfactory knowledge of another.
- Nationality: Must be a national of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway.
- Citizenship rights: Must be entitled to full rights as a citizen.
- Military service: Must have fulfilled any applicable obligations.
- Physical fitness: Must be physically fit for the duties.
- Criminal record: Must provide a certificate of no criminal record.
- Medical examination: Must pass a medical exam as per Article 12(2)(d) of CEOS.
2. Qualifications
- Must have a university degree (minimum 3 years of study) with a diploma.
- Qualifications must be from an EU or EEA Member State, or recognized as equivalent.
- If studies were completed outside the EU, the candidate must provide a recognition document from a relevant EU/EEA authority.
3. Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of full-time professional experience in data modelling, relational databases, and related fields.
- Experience is counted from the date of obtaining the diploma up to the application deadline.
4. Language Skills
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Native English speakers must prove proficiency in a second EU language.
- Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
5. Selection Criteria
- Knowledge of data warehouse/OLAP concepts.
- Experience with dimensional modelling.
- Logical and physical design of relational databases.
- Experience in working with developers, IT resources, and business users.
6. Additional Competencies (Assets)
- Knowledge of accounting and supervisory reporting.
- Familiarity with SAS software packages.

Selection Procedure
The selection process includes:
- Establishment of a selection committee.

Appointment and Employment Conditions
