Key Job Opportunity
The EBA is currently recruiting an IT Operations Specialist for its London office. The position involves:
- Providing support and managing the IT infrastructure and administrative applications.
- Acting as a single point of contact for users, handling incidents, problems, and service requests.
- Coordinating incident and problem resolution with IT service providers, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Defining and improving IT support processes and monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
- Maintaining technical documentation and user manuals.
- Supporting the drafting of technical specifications and participating in tender procedures.
Main Responsibilities
- Acting as a first-line support for IT users
- Tracking and coordinating incident and problem resolution with IT service providers
- Managing service requests (e.g., software installations, access requests)
- Supporting users with queries related to MS Office and other office automation products
- Defining and improving IT support processes
- Monitoring KPIs and SLAs
- Maintaining technical documentation and user manuals
- Contributing to the technical library and ensuring policy consistency
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a national of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway
- Must be entitled to full rights as a citizen
- Must have fulfilled military service obligations
- Must be physically fit
- Must have a diploma from completed university studies (at least 3 years)
- Must have a satisfactory knowledge of at least two EU languages (one must be thorough, English is required)
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of full-time professional experience in IT
- At least 4 years in a comparable position
- Experience must be counted from the date of obtaining the relevant diploma up to the application deadline
Language Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency in a second EU language
Selection Criteria

Extensive experience in:
- Administering Windows Servers
- Administering Windows Clients (Windows 7 or above)
- Maintaining Microsoft Active Directory
- Administering Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 or above
- Supporting IT hardware
- Collaborating with external IT providers (second and third line support)
- Office automation products (Microsoft Office 2010 or above)

Selection Procedure

Appointment and Employment Conditions
