Main Responsibilities

- Initiating and documenting written procedures
- Liaising with Governing body members and offering administrative assistance
- Attending meetings and drafting minutes
- Preparing and conducting briefings and debriefings for senior management
- Performing other related tasks as required by the Head of the Policy Analysis and Coordination Unit
Requirements
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a national of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway
- Must have full citizen rights and have fulfilled military service obligations
- Must be physically fit for the role
- Must provide a criminal record certificate and undergo a medical examination
2. Qualifications
- Must have a university-level education in law, business, economics, or a related field
- Only diplomas from EU or EEA authorities or equivalent qualifications are accepted
3. Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience after obtaining the required diploma
- Experience must be counted from the date of diploma award to the application deadline
4. Language Skills
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
- Native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency in a second EU language
- Knowledge of other EU languages is advantageous
5. Selection Criteria
- Proven knowledge of EU banking regulation
- Experience in drafting meeting minutes
- Experience in preparing and conducting briefings for senior management
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Experience in dealing with various stakeholders
- Advantageous: Experience in an international secretariat or similar role

Selection Procedure
- A selection committee will review applications and create a shortlist
- Shortlisted candidates may be invited for written tests and interviews
- Written test (English): Total score of 10, minimum 6 to pass
- Interview (English): Total score of 10, minimum 6 to pass
- Successful candidates are ranked by merit, with the highest scorer being recruited
- Candidates scoring 14 or above are placed on a reserve list valid until 31 December 2014
- Selection committee decisions are confidential
Appointment and Employment Conditions
- Contract type: Temporary agent fixed-term contract for 3 years, with a 6-month probation period and possible extension
- Starting date: Expected to be 1 or 16 January 2014
- Function group and grade: Grade AD 5
- Estimated monthly salary: €4,349.59 (exempt from national tax, with Community tax at source)
- Benefits: Includes expatriation, household, and dependent child allowances, education and installation allowances, and travel insurance for missions
- Annual leave: 2 days per calendar month, plus additional days based on age, grade, and distance from origin
- Pension and insurance: Access to EU Pension Scheme after 10 years of service, and EU Joint Sickness and Insurance Scheme
