Main Purpose

Requirements
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Language proficiency: Excellent knowledge of English; satisfactory knowledge of another EU language
- Nationality: Must be a national of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Norway
- Legal status: Full citizen rights and no criminal record
- Military service: Completed obligations
- Physical fitness: Required for the role
2. Qualifications
- Education: Completed university studies in business, economics, law, or a related field, with a diploma
- Education duration:
- 3 years: At least 1 year of professional experience
- 4 years or more: No additional professional experience required
3. Professional Experience
- Minimum 13 years (for 3-year education) or 12 years (for 4-year education) of relevant full-time professional experience
- At least 5 years in a comparable position in the consumer protection area
4. Language Knowledge
- Excellent English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage
5. Selection Criteria
- Proven knowledge of EU banking regulation and consumer financial products and services
- Ability to analyse market trends and financial instruments
- Experience in operational risk management
- Managerial experience of at least 5 years
- Strong people and process management skills
- Experience in dealing with stakeholders at national or international level

Selection Procedure

Appointment and Employment Conditions
