The 2024 Global Smart Education Conference (GSE2024), held from 18 to 20 August 2024 at Beijing Normal University (BNU), was organized by BNU in collaboration with UNESCO IITE, ALECSO, COL, ISTE, and SEAMEO. It served as the annual conference of the Global Smart Education Network (GSENet), with the theme of "Educational Transformation & International Understanding".
The conference aimed to digitalize and transform education, explore new theories and technologies, and reflect on challenges and opportunities in the field of smart education. It brought together over 400 international speakers from 62 countries, 1,800 on-site attendees, and 5 million online viewers, highlighting the global interest and engagement in smart education.
