Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a major global threat, contributing to high mortality and undermining sustainable development goals. However, significant weaknesses were observed in environmental monitoring, food agriculture, and legislative enforcement.

Globally, TrACSS data highlights uneven progress, with an average rating showing opportunities for Togo to enhance AMR stewardship, data collection, and cross-sector integration. Recommendations emphasize increasing financial and human resources, strengthening multisectoral mechanisms, and using data to inform policies for effective AMR control.
