Description of Activities
Trainees will be involved in a range of administrative and support roles across different departments, including:
- Personal Assistant/Secretary: Providing secretarial and administrative support to EBA management, managing schedules, correspondence, and external communications.
- Administrative Assistant: Supporting EBA teams, the Communications Team, and the Finance Team with administrative tasks such as document management, meeting organisation, and database maintenance.

Personal Assistant/Secretary
- Secretarial and administrative support
- Time and itinerary management
- Meeting coordination and preparation
- Correspondence handling and document filing
- Acting as a point of contact for external stakeholders
- Supporting managers in external engagements
Administrative Assistant
Assistance to EBA Teams
- Coordination of meetings, workshops, and seminars
- Preparation of documents and dossiers
- Updating databases and managing correspondence
Assistance to the Communications Team
- Website and social media management
- Intranet and internal communication tool support
- Media and stakeholder monitoring
- Organisation of press events
Assistance to the Finance Team
- Administrative support for financial transactions
- Preparation of commitment and payment requests
- Documentation collection, verification, and processing
- Follow-up on financial project implementation
- Budget transfer support
- Development of financial procedures and standards
- Document filing and invoice registration
Requirements
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or a candidate country with pre-accession status.
- Completion of a first cycle of higher university education with a full degree certificate or equivalent by the application deadline.
- Very good knowledge of English (B2 level or higher, as per CEFR).
Selection Criteria
- University degree in business or public administration, economics, finance, banking, public relations, or communication science.
- Good drafting skills in English (examples required in the application).
- Knowledge of at least one other EU official language.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) (examples required in the application).
- Advantageous to have experience in multicultural or international environments.
- Knowledge of French and specific applications (e.g., ABAC, SI2, SAP) is preferred.
