Overview
This report analyzes the World Bank Group (WBG) Country Opinion Survey conducted in Senegal from March to April 2024, assessing stakeholder perceptions of WBG effectiveness and collaboration. - Collaboration: Perceived as a long-term partner (high ratings), but collaboration with private sector and civil society was lower. Recommendations include stronger engagement with local authorities and communities.
- Financial Instruments: Positive on accountability and timeliness; concerns about funding conditions and monitoring. Collaborators rated financial support higher.
- Knowledge Work: 48% used WBG knowledge resources; high agreement on capacity building but lower satisfaction with tailoring to context. Communications recommendations include better visibility and data sharing.
- Communication: TV and direct contact were preferred channels. Climate change and food security topics were most recalled.
