报告摘要
The Croatia Country Opinion Survey 2024 shows significant improvements in stakeholder perceptions of the World Bank Group (WBG) compared to the 2021 results. Familiarity with the WBG increased slightly, and trust rose notably, making it one of the most trusted institutions alongside the European Union. Key performance indicators, such as alignment with development priorities and effectiveness in achieving results, showed marked improvement. Development priorities focus on public sector governance, anti-corruption, and judiciary reform, with demographic trends and transport infrastructure gaining higher priority. The WBG is increasingly seen as a long-term partner, more open and flexible, but stakeholders recommend strengthening collaborations with academia and the private sector, enhancing accessibility, and improving communication to increase visibility. Financial instruments and knowledge work are highly valued, though timeliness of financial support saw a slight decline. Future recommendations include more localized approaches, better stakeholder engagement, and addressing awareness gaps to maximize impact.
