Access and Availability
- 48.6% bought cigarettes in stores; 11.8% smoked at home.

Media and Advertising
- Media messages: 71.4% saw anti-smoking TV ads vs. 81.5% saw pro-cigarette ads.
- 39.1% saw anti- vs. 53.7% saw pro-messages on billboards.
- Stronger anti-smoking ads in newspapers (62.2% anti vs. 67.7% pro), and 26.6% had cigarette-logo items.
Cessation
- High quitting attempts by current smokers: 85.5% tried to stop in the past year, 79.8% received help.
School Factors
- Knowledge in schools: 46.8% taught about smoking dangers, 36.7% discussed smoking reasons, 41.8% taught effects during the past year.
