** Strategic Priorities:**
- Achieving Sustainable Aviation: Focus on reducing GHG emissions to net-zero by 2050, driven by the 2021 Aviation Climate Action Plan. - 4. Accelerating Innovation: Invest in R&D for boundary-pushing technologies (autonomy, AI, advanced materials, propulsion, sustainable fuels, hypersonics) through agile processes and collaborations.
- 5. Strengthening National Security: Ensure the aeronautics enterprise supports defense needs, particularly through advanced technologies (hypersonics, secure systems) and rapid development capabilities.
- 6. Developing the Workforce: Invest in STEM education, training, and outreach to cultivate a diverse, skilled, and interdisciplinary workforce.
