NDC Submission Status

As of early 2025, momentum for submitting Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement has increased. As of February 2025, 18 countries have submitted new NDCs, including five G20 nations, five Small Island Developing States (SIDS), and two BRICS countries. Over 90% of countries plan to submit, demonstrating commitment to high-quality climate action with economic opportunities.
