Overview
The study investigated various health behaviors among students in grades 7, 8 primary, and 1 secondary, aged 13-15 years. It used a two-stage cluster sampling method with a student response rate of 87%. Data focused on 14 specific topics.

Alcohol and Drug Use
- Average per day alcohol consumption in the past 30 days: 25.4% of students.
- Percentage who got drunk at least once: 21.9%.

- Percentage considering suicide: 19.5% seriously considered it.
- Percentage reporting no close friends: 6.8% (lower for girls).
Physical Activity
- Percentage meeting daily guidelines for physical activity (>=1 hour, 7 days): 8.9% (boys:12.4%, girls:5.4%).
- Percentage spending >3 hours/day on sitting activities: 40.1% (boys:31.9%, girls:48.0%).
Protective Factors
- Percentage who frequently missed classes without permission: 17.9% (boys:20.8%, girls:15.1%).
- Percentage reporting lack of school kindness/helpfulness: 30.3% (boys:33.1%, girls:27.4%).
- Percentage feeling parents/guardians weren't involved in free time: 27.7-28.3%.
Sexual Behaviours
- Percentage who ever had sex: 13% (low for girls, higher for boys).
- Percentage who ever had sex with multiple partners: 5.7%.
- Among students who had sex (M=6.3%), ~43% used condoms last time.
Tobacco Use
- Percentage who smoked cigarettes daily (past 30 days): 23.0%. (Boys higher than girls: 24.2% vs 21.9%).
- Percentage using other tobacco products (past 30 days): 4.1%.
- High percentage (75+) exposed to secondhand smoke daily.
Unintentional Injuries & Violence
- Percentage involved in physical fights (12 months): 34% (higher for boys:49.0%).
- Percentage seriously injured (12 months): 37% (higher for boys:43.9%).
- Percentage bullied (30 days): 49.8% (higher for boys:53.6%).
