As of 15 July 2024, WHO is responding to 42 graded emergencies globally, including 8 active Grade-3 emergencies.

Humanitarian Aid: In Chad, over 12.7 million Sudanese refugees and IDPs face funding gaps (18% funded); Myanmar collaboration expanded to integrate refugees into primary health services, with over 4500 Ukrainians registered in Romania. Rohingya camps in Bangladesh launched expanded hepatitis testing and treatment.
Resource Mobilization: WHO's Health Emergency Appeal 2024 requests US$1.5 billion for 87 million people; the CFE enabled rapid funding for emergencies, such as diphtheria outbreaks and earthquake responses.

Event Preparedness: WHO supported readiness for UEFA EURO 2024 and Paris 2024 Olympics with surveillance dashboards.
