报告摘要
AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) technology combines AR (Augmented Reality) with conventional HUD (Head-Up Display) to enhance driving experience by overlaying digital information onto the real world through the windshield. Originating from early HUD applications in aviation in the 1990s, it has evolved to become a key feature in modern vehicles, offering improved safety, reduced cognitive load, and better navigation integration. Compared to traditional HUDs, AR-HUD provides larger display areas, higher brightness, and immersive integration with ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). Benefits include avoiding head movements by displaying info at a distance (e.g., 7.5m+), enhancing safety with real-time alerts, and improving navigation through 3D rendering. Challenges include issues like ghosting, heat management, and the need for high integration with sensors and maps. AR-HUD is widely used in vehicles from brands like Audi, Mercedes, and Great Wall Motors, with technological developments showing promise for L3+ autonomous driving. The future involves addressing technical hurdles to enhance performance and integration in intelligent automotive systems.
