Demographics of the Sample
- Current Position: Respondents from the Office of the President/Prime Minister and ministries were grouped together, as were financial sector/private banks and private sector organizations. NGOs, private foundations, and faith-based groups were combined into the "CSO" category.
- Primary Specialization: Respondents identified their work areas, with the top responses including economic development, social services, and public policy.
- Geographic Locations: Respondents from Santa Cruz, Cochabamba, and other urban areas were grouped into the "Other" category for analysis.
- Familiarity with WBG: Respondents rated their familiarity with the WBG on a scale from 1 to 10. The weighted mean was 6.4 in FY 2016 and 6.8 in FY 2014.
- Familiarity with Other Banks: Stakeholders were more familiar with the WBG than the CEPAL. The IDB and CAF were also well-known.
General Issues Facing Bolivia

- Effectiveness Ratings: Respondents rated the WBG's effectiveness on a scale from 1 to 10. The mean rating was 6.4 in FY 2016, compared to 6.8 in FY 2014.
- Collaboration Impact: Stakeholders who collaborated with the WBG had higher mean ratings (7.0) than those who did not (5.8).
- Greatest Values: Financing of investment projects and technical assistance were the top values identified.
- Most Effective Instruments: Investment financing and technical assistance were seen as the most effective in reducing poverty.
- Greatest Weaknesses: Lack of public disclosure and excessive bureaucracy were the main weaknesses identified.

- Collaboration Impact: Collaborators rated the WBG's effectiveness in specific areas higher than non-collaborators.
- Key Drivers of Effectiveness: Ratings of effectiveness in gender equity, equality of opportunity, and poverty reduction were most closely linked to overall effectiveness and development results.
