Survey Details
The Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) in Cali, Colombia, focused on students aged 13-15 in grades 7 through 10, conducted in 2007. A two-stage cluster sampling method was employed to obtain representative data, with high response rates: 91.8% school, 100% class, 88.4% student, and 81.2% overall.
Prevalence of Tobacco Use

- Media Exposure: Significant exposure to both anti-smoking media (69.9% saw messages) and pro-tobacco ads (73.4% on billboards, 73.5% in print media).
