报告摘要
Mining sector faces growing stakeholder discontent due to transparency gaps, conflicting stakeholder interests, and unclear valuation frameworks. The Foro Economico Mundial’s Iniciativa para el Desarrollo de la Minería Responsable (RMDI) introduced the Gestión del Valor de la Minería (MVM) framework to address these issues by fostering multi-stakeholder dialogue, enhancing transparency, and identifying collaborative areas. Key findings from the 2013 report emphasize the need for:
- Multi-dimensional value recognition: Value extends beyond economic gains to include social, environmental, and cultural dimensions.
- Stakeholder alignment: Stakeholders hold diverse and often divergent views on value creation, requiring structured dialogue to bridge these gaps.
- Country-specific factors: Value creation varies by country due to structural factors like governance, infrastructure, and development stage.
- Action-oriented collaboration: Confronting biases and fostering shared goals can drive sustainable and responsible mining practices.
The RMDI proposes six pillars for responsible mining development and utilizes MVM tools to analyze and address commercialization partnerships, employment, infrastructure, and other critical areas. Recommendations include enhancing transparency, ensuring equal stakeholder representation, and embedding collaboration mechanisms to achieve long-term sustainability.
