Recent Publications Related to H.R. 1 & Reconciliation Process:
- Upcoming: Analysis on uninsured changes under H.R. 1 and its comparison to baselines, letter on Medicaid (Title IV) coverage, slide deck on dynamic SNAP changes in H.R. 1, and assessment of deficit legislation's sequestration effects.
- Existing: Blog post on Congressional reconciliation support and H.R. 1 analysis method.
Overall Recent Cost Estimates: Over 267 cost estimates released in the last quarter, including those for reconciliation bills.
Analytical Publications: 38 products released recently since the last quarterly report, including updates on Social Security and the long-term budget outlook under economic scenarios, monthly budget reviews (covering federal outlays and revenues), reports on national security topics like nuclear forces and F-35, analyses on distributional effects, tax credits, and immigration impacts.
Responsiveness to Congressional Requests: CBO addressed queries on topics including mandatory spending, tariffs, analytical methodologies, deficit projections, Navy shipbuilding, space interceptor costs, and specific policy areas.
