Survey Overview

- Social Factors: 32.7% have parents who smoke, 8.4% have all friends who smoke; tobacco industry advertising influences perceptions (55.0% seen pro-cigarette ads, 72.2% anti-smoking ads).
- Exposure and Knowledge: Students demonstrate higher knowledge of tobacco harms, with over 80% taught about risks in school.
- Initiation: 12.5% of never smokers are at risk of starting, and 79.8% of smokers desire cessation.
