The Global Youth Tobacco Survey (GYTS) in Pskov, Russia, in 2015 monitored tobacco use among adolescents aged 13-15 years. Key findings include a 19.7% prevalence of any tobacco use, with 18.5% smoking tobacco (11.2% specifically cigarettes) and 8.5% using electronic cigarettes. High exposure to secondhand smoke occurred, particularly at home (40.1%). Media awareness is strong, with 72.4% exposed to anti-tobacco messages. Attitudes support smoking prohibitions in enclosed public places (90.4%), but susceptibility to future tobacco use is 13.8%, highlighting ongoing public health concerns and the need for targeted interventions.
