The CEBS (Committee of European Banking Supervisors) has extended the Supervisory Disclosure Framework (SD) to include additional areas of prudential regulation and supervisory practice. Key Templates and Their Content
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Template
- Purpose: Disclose the implementation of the 3L3 guidelines for M&A assessments.
- Content:
- Assessment criteria for the proposed acquirer (e.g., reputation, experience, financial soundness, compliance, and money laundering suspicion).
- Provisions from Dir. 2006/48/EC and Dir. 2006/49/EC.
- Information required for the assessment, with links to national websites.
- Structure: Includes rows for each assessment criterion, with columns for Country and Example.
National Discretions and Options Template
- Purpose: Provide a granular and clearer comparative overview of national discretions.
- Content:
