Eurelectric represents the interests of the electricity industry across Europe. Its scope encompasses the entire electricity value chain and extends beyond through global affiliates and business associates.

Its core vision is to enable a reliable European economy powered by clean energy and create a sustainable society. Committed to leading a cost-effective energy transition, the organization focuses on decarbonization, system transformation, deployment of renewables and digitalization, decarbonization of other sectors, sustainable asset transformation, and innovation.

Eurelectric pursues its activities guided by three sustainable development pillars: economic development (growth, added-value, efficiency), environmental leadership (commitment, innovation, pro-activeness), and social responsibility (transparency, ethics, accountability). The scope spans electricity generation, markets, transmission, distribution, and customer issues.
