报告摘要
Indonesia has massive untapped renewable energy potential, with at least 400 GW available, yet current reliance on fossil fuels (70% of electricity mix) threatens energy security and climate goals. To meet net-zero targets by 2060, the country needs to attract $150-200 billion annually in clean energy investments. The report advises policymakers to focus on six policy areas: reforming the renewable energy tariff system to ensure fair competition; removing regulatory barriers and stabilizing frameworks; enabling direct power purchase agreements (PPAs) for corporate buyers; ensuring effective implementation of regulations; providing fiscal incentives; and enhancing renewable energy certificate tracking to improve transparency and investment confidence. Case studies from Malaysia, India, Germany, and Singapore highlight successful strategies that could be adapted. The working group calls for urgent action to create an enabling environment for renewable energy investments.
