- 60% of consumers believe their personal information is safe on public Wi-Fi, but 53% cannot distinguish between secure and unsecure networks.
- 75% do not use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to secure their Wi-Fi connections, despite it being a recommended method.
- 87% have taken security risks while using public Wi-Fi, such as accessing personal email, bank accounts, or financial information.
- 74% are unsure how to determine if their apps are transmitting data securely over Wi-Fi.
