DMFAS Programme Overview
The UNCTAD Debt Management and Financial Analysis System (DMFAS) Programme has supported over 45 years of debt management solutions for more than 75 governments, aiding in poverty reduction, sustainable development, transparency, and good governance. Established as a key initiative of UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD), it provides efficient and reliable debt management tools trusted by over 80 institutions in more than 60 countries.
DMFAS 7 Introduction
DMFAS 7 is a new-generation debt management software launched in 2025 to help countries manage public debt more efficiently. It aligns with international standards and best practices, offering a comprehensive solution that streamlines debt reporting, enhances transparency, and simplifies data management for governments, central banks, and other entities.

- Intelligent Modules: Features such as contingent liabilities tracking, data sharing, borrowing plans, valuation support compliant with IPSAS, and auditing capabilities.
- Integrated Tools: Links with other financial systems like IFMIS and offers enhanced security with role-based access and data validation.
