报告摘要
Colombia – Bogotá Global Youth Tobacco Survey, conducted in 2007 on students aged 13-15, used a multistage cluster sampling design with a high response rate of 83.9%, involving 1,235 students. Key findings highlight that 27.6% currently use any tobacco product, and 26.2% smoke cigarettes, with prevalence being slightly higher among boys. Exposure to secondhand smoke is significant, affecting 26.2% at home and 56.1% in outdoor settings, with many believing smoking is harmful. Knowledge and attitudes show that 7-21.4% think smoking enhances social appeal, and only 69.1% were exposed to anti-smoking media. Access to tobacco is common, with stores frequently selling products to minors, and media actively promoted pro-cigarette ads. Few students received education on tobacco dangers in school, limiting prevention efforts.
