Oil Demand: JODI-reporting countries saw oil demand rise by 1 mb/d in June, reaching a 5-year seasonal high (total 94.1 mb/d). This was ~670 kb/d higher year-on-year, driven by the US, India, Canada, and France. China's data was excluded for June, but previous averages suggested higher demand.
Crude Production: Crude oil production fell steadily, with the US and Russia (no data since March) leading the declines. Global average production was 100.3 mb/d.
Inventories: Net crude inventory fell by 7 mb, while total oil product inventories increased by 26 mb, remaining distillate above the 5-year average.
Country-Specific Updates:
- Saudi crude production fell by 3 kb/d to 9.96 mb/d.
- Iraq's crude production was 530 kb/d below year-ago levels.
- Kuwait's product exports hit an all-time high.
- Jet fuel demand inched higher but remained 9% below pre-COVID levels.

Gas Production: Natural gas production decreased by 8 bcm, with Russia's output falling to a 7-year low, dragging down global averages.
Gas Demand: North America and the EU saw mixed demand. EU+UK natural gas demand remained below seasonal averages, while inventories increased to 76% full.
Overall Stocks: Gas inventories rose by 16.7 bcm, remaining near the 5-year range. This reflected seasonal build-up to cover winter needs.
