1. Key Achievements (2024)

• Digital Economy Report (DER) 2024: Launched in July, emphasizing the need for circular economy principles and sustainable digital strategies to mitigate environmental impacts of digitalization.
• eT Ready Assessments and Strategies: Completed two assessments (Timor-Leste, Trinidad and Tobago) and supported 18 countries in developing national e-commerce strategies, with 70% women participants in capacity-building workshops.
• Empowering Women Digital Entrepreneurs: Launched the eTrade for Women online platform and organized 20 policy dialogues, reaching over 350 entrepreneurs from 65 countries.
• Global Digital Compact (GDC) Support: Actively contributing to GDC implementation, particularly in data governance and inclusion.
• Capacity Building: In-person and online training reached over 300 participants, with tools like the eTrade Reform Tracker gaining demand from partner countries.

2. Strategic Initiatives

• Task Group on Measuring E-commerce Value: Advanced guidelines on e-commerce measurement, collaborating with IMF, OECD, and WTO.
• Partnerships: Strengthened collaboration with regional entities such as AfCFTA, ECOWAS, and BRICS/G20 presidencies.
• Evaluation and Transparency: Initiated a 2024-2025 program evaluation and began publishing activity data via IATI standards.

3. Future Focus (2025)

• Global Digital Compact Implementation: Support developing countries to close digital divides and enhance data governance.
• eT Readies and Strategies: New assessments planned for Indonesia, Mauritania, and Zimbabwe; continued strategy support for regions like Latin America.
• Multi-stakeholder Dialogue: Advancing sustainable development through e-commerce and digital trade alignment with the SDGs.
• Capacity Building: Expanding workshops on data measurement, digital indicators, and interoperable data frameworks.
