It strengthened partnerships and multisectoral engagement through collaborations with partners like Stop TB Partnership and The Global Fund.

New Objectives (2023-2027)

The expanded initiative aims to fast-track TB elimination by 2030, prioritizing universal access to TB prevention and care. Key goal: achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by ensuring equitable access to life-saving services. New targets include:

• 90% diagnosis and treatment coverage by 2027.
• 100% of TB patients tested initially with recommended rapid diagnostics.
• 90% coverage of preventive treatment by 2027, equivalent to at least 35 million people.
• Full financial risk protection for TB-affected individuals.
• License at least one new TB vaccine by 2025 to accelerate incidence decline.
• Attract US$22 billion annually by 2027 for TB services and $5 billion per year for research.
