• Vaccination: Countries should apply for MenAfriVac by December 2023 and prepare for reactive vaccination in outbreaks.
• Meningitis Preparedness: Develop strategic plans by 2023 and enhance collaboration between governments and civil society organizations.

IV. MenAfriVac Introduction

• Recent Introductions: MenAfriVac has been introduced in Benin (2022), Guinea (2021), and Togo (2021).
• Catch-Up Campaigns: Successful vaccination campaigns in target districts, such as Niger and Nigeria, reduced cases significantly post-vaccination.
