WHAT WORRIES THE WORLD?

• Global Concern: Ipsos' report tracks public opinion on social and political issues across 28 countries. Poverty & social inequality topped the list for the second consecutive month, followed by Unemployment. Coronavirus concern is decreasing.
• Worry Prevalence: On average across 28 countries, 32% of adults are most worried about Poverty & social inequality, 30% about Unemployment, 28% about Coronavirus, 28% about Financial/political corruption, and 27% about Crime & violence.
• Concern Trend: Poverty & social inequality ranks #1 for the second month in a row. Concerns about these and other major issues have been tracked since 2013.
• Direction of Travel: Globally, 65% of respondents (across the 28 countries surveyed) believe things in their country are heading in the wrong direction, while 35% believe they are on the right track.

• Monthly Changes: Poverty & social inequality and Unemployment remained stable compared to the previous month. Concern about Coronavirus decreased further. Crime & violence saw a slight increase.
