报告摘要
Children are highly vulnerable to environmental hazards, leading to millions of deaths annually from diseases like respiratory infections and diarrheal illnesses. The Global Plan of Action (2010-2015) focuses on improving children's environmental health through five key strategies: data collection and analysis, collaborative research, advocacy, clinical service delivery, and awareness raising and education. Developed in response to growing recognition of environmental threats, it calls for strong partnerships, policy changes, and preventive interventions to reduce child mortality and disability. Expected outcomes include better data systems, research networks, and improved health services, all aimed at creating safer environments in support of Millennium Development Goals.
