Renewable Energy Deployment
Scale up onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, and hydrogen projects to achieve the 2030 renewable electricity targets (22 GW by 2030). Decarbonization in Buildings and Transport

Skills Development for Energy Innovation
Leverage Ireland's strong R&D ecosystem by developing a dedicated energy RDI strategy, enhancing co-ordination across departments, and increasing public funding to support clean energy transitions (see Recommendation: Prepare a dedicated energy RDI strategy).

Community Engagement & Public Acceptance
Enhance public participation through transparent planning, community benefit schemes, and inclusive stakeholder dialogue to build support for energy infrastructure (see Recommendation: Ensure that the recently established Maritime Area Regulatory Authority is sufficiently resourced).

International Collaboration
Deepen engagement with IEA TCPs (e.g., Hydrogen, PV) and EU initiatives to access global expertise, funding, and best practices in energy innovation (see Recommendation: Prepare a dedicated energy RDI strategy).
