报告摘要
Cambodia has a total population of 15.5 million in the low-income category. Diabetes mortality is high, with approximately 260,500 male and 820,970 female deaths ages 30-69, and similar figures in older age groups, accounting for 35% of total deaths; uncertainty is high due to data limitations. Other major causes of death include injuries (11%), cardiovascular diseases (30%), communicable diseases, maternal/perinatal conditions (13%), cancers (24%), and respiratory diseases. Diabetes prevalence is 5.9%, with overweight (16.4%), obesity (2.9%), and physical inactivity (9.7%) as key risk factors. National response shows limited availability of policies and guidelines for diabetes and reducing overweight, but some diabetes-specific measures are in place and some medical resources are generally accessible.
