报告摘要
Mexico has implemented a temporary requirement, starting December 11, 2021, for Brazilian nationals to apply for an electronic or virtual visa regardless of stay length when entering as visitors. This change suspends a 2004 agreement that previously exempted Brazilian nationals from visa requirements for tourism or business visits, due to an increase in entries for other purposes.
Crucially, this requirement does not apply to individuals with valid work permits or those holding permanent resident status in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, or any of the Schengen Area countries or Pacific Alliance members (Colombia, Chile, and Peru). Companies and individuals must be aware of these changes to comply with entry rules.
