Employers and individuals will need to account for these changes, particularly high-income earners, who may face reduced tax burdens.

Personal Income Tax Rates (England & Northern Ireland):
- Reduction of the basic rate from 20% to 19%.
- Abolition of the additional rate (45%) threshold at £150,000+.
- Higher rate (40%) thresholds remain unchanged initially in the presented rates (though they are also scheduled to change eventually). Note: Scottish & Welsh rates are set by their respective legislatures.
National Insurance Contributions (NIC):
