Influenza Activity:
- Northern Hemisphere: Elevated in Central America, Caribbean, Middle Africa, Western Africa, Southern Asia, and South East Asia; A(H3N2) predominated except in Western Asia, South East Asia, and Southern Asia (where A(H1N1)pdm09 dominated). Activity increased in Western Africa, Southern Asia, and South East Asia.
- Southern Hemisphere: Elevated in South America, Eastern Africa, and Oceania; stable or decreasing elsewhere. A(H3N2) predominated except in Eastern Africa (A(H1N1)pdm09 dominated).

SARS-CoV-2 Activity:
- Based on sentinel surveillance from 62 countries: Elevated in Northern Europe, South-West Europe, Eastern Europe (few countries), Western Asia, Southern Asia, South East Asia, Eastern Asia, Central America, Caribbean, and Tropical South America. Activity increased in East Europe, Western Asia, Eastern Asia, Central America, and Caribbean.
