• Tobacco Prevalence: Among students ages 13-15, 12% are current cigarette smokers, 14% use any tobacco product.
• Gender Disparity: Boys (20.5%) have higher current cigarette smoking rates than girls (9.1%).
• Media Exposure: 71.6% of students reported seeing anti-tobacco messages, with girls showing higher receptivity. Half (50.6%) of exposed youth attended sporting or community events with anti-tobacco messages.
• Secondhand Smoke: 38.3% of students are exposed to tobacco smoke at home; 54.2% in enclosed public places; 66.1% in outdoor public spaces.
• Recommendations: Strengthen tobacco control policies, enforce smoking bans, improve smoking cessation services, and enhance educational programs.

This survey demonstrates significant youth tobacco use and the persistent challenges in implementation. The education and policy gaps in tobacco control are evident from the data.
