There is no genetic variation in water saving traits within the core region of the cluster. Genotyping identified multiple SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) distributed across the cluster region. The most significantly associated markers with water saving traits were rs1, rs2, and rs6, with Log P values of -31.09, -8.35, and -9.49 respectively. The environmental covariates Elevation and Soil_Type exhibit strong effects on the cluster membership probability, with the model explaining a high percentage (Rsq=0.99) of the variance in the Observed longitude.
