Summary

Burkina Faso reported high numbers of cases but noted alarming CFR levels in some instances, particularly for patients in countries like Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, and Central Africa.

The data indicates widespread meningitis transmission across multiple districts, with varying success in controlling infection severity. Enhanced surveillance is recommended for continued monitoring and timely public health interventions.
