报告摘要
EYE Strategy and IA2030 Intersection Analysis Summary
EYE (Eliminate Yellow Fever Epidemics) Strategy aims to eradicate yellow fever by 2026, focusing on three strategic objectives: protecting at-risk populations through vaccination and risk prioritization, preventing international spread via urban readiness and IHR compliance, and controlling outbreaks quickly with surveillance, diagnostics, and emergency responses. IA2030 (Immunization Agenda 2030) is a global initiative to ensure universal vaccine access for health and well-being, with seven strategic priorities.
An ad hoc task team identified synergies between EYE and IA2030, including high-potential areas for collaboration, such as coverage, equity, and outbreaks/emergencies. Key findings mapped EYE goals to IA2030 working groups, highlighting opportunities for integrated action and resource sharing. The matrix includes priority groups like coordination/council, disease-specific, commitment/demand, lifecourse/integration, and outbreaks/emergencies.
Challenges include maintaining timely updates from rapidly evolving IA2030 groups and leveraging EYE's mid-term to avoid delays. Steps forward include developing customized briefings, iterative PMG reviews, and quarterly updates.
Overall, EYE and IA2030 share common competencies like governance and vaccine supply improvements for mutually beneficial outcomes.
